Abstract The compressive strength of concrete is one the parameters used to control quality concrete. Concrete testing method which considered highest level reliability a destructive using compression equipment. Based on case, tool needed measure or determine known as Universal Testing Machine (UTM). Experimental research conducted with scientific approach several variables. purpose this get value slabs variation 30% candlenut shells. From test results UTM so that it can be obtained reinforced variable are 28 days age and curing methods (wet dry curing). number specimens 4 pieces measuring 50cm x 25cm 12cm. study shells shows reaches 75 MPa in wet 59 equivalent K400 K500 at days. also show higher than curing.
